While most settings can be adjusted later, some should be configured early to ensure smooth functionality.

Key Settings

Highly Recommended Setup

• API Keys – Required to connect your frontend to CourseLayer.
  • Without an API key, your frontend cannot communicate with the platform.
  • If you plan to process payments, you must also configure Stripe API keys.
• Redirects – Helps direct users to the correct pages after actions like:
  • Sign-up
  • Login
  • Password reset

Other Configurable Settings

• Subscription Plan – Displays your active subscription plan (set up during account creation).
• Invoice History – Provides access to past billing records.
• Team Members – Manage additional admin users for your account.
• Categories – Organize your courses for better discoverability.
• Tags – Add searchable metadata to courses.
• Instructors – Manage instructor profiles.
• Custom Fields – Allows additional data fields for courses.
  • While they can be managed in this section, they are best created in the course context.
